back in tomorrow morning for another round of BW/US. a couple more doses of meopur came today, so that should tide me over just in case i need it. the plan is now a wednesday retrieval, with a christmas eve 3 day transfer. i don’t think it’s really sunk in yet.
in my school, we have two “houses” per grade, essentially two seventh grades with 125 kids each rather than one with 250. over the past few weeks, i’ve managed to tell my house teachers about our ivf (i suck at secrets). everyone is so totally supportive and it’s just a really, really nice feeling knowing that i can be honest when i’m not feeling well at lunch or exhausted during a meeting rather than making up such bull shit excuse.
well, anyway, they gave me a small gift today. (side note: i am the second youngest in my house, and have the reputation for being the tech guru). i only teared up a little bit when i opened up:
i was told it was a new tech toy to entertain myself with during the bedrest. along with a comment to be careful to use it without adult supervision since it has small parts.
i love my job.
